Patek Philippe presents the High Craftsmanship Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5160/500R-001, a sophisticated reinterpretation in rose gold inspired by a historic pocket watch from the Patek Philippe Museum.
This model is decorated with intricate hand-engraved details, featuring scrolls and foliage on the dial, bezel, case, crown, lid, lugs, clasp and even the bracelet screws. The Patek Philippe signature is present on the lid and the Calatrava cross on the clasp.
The automatic caliber 26-330 S QR movement offers a highly accurate perpetual calendar, set to months of 28, 29, 30 or 31 days. A retrograde needle displays the date in an arc between 8 and 4 o’clock, instantly returning to its starting point.
The moonphase complication is exceptionally accurate, with a deviation of just one day in 122 years. The silvered opaline gold dial is framed by white gold Breguet markers and blackened yellow gold pear-shaped hands, enhancing the legibility and elegance of the design.
The watch is complemented by a brown alligator leather strap with square scales and features a sapphire caseback protected by a hinged lid. This model reflects Patek Philippe’s commitment to combining tradition, craftsmanship and innovation, offering a piece of fine watchmaking that combines refined aesthetics with mechanical perfection.
